OUR LEADERSHIP

Sherry Collins Zabel

Owner

Sherry has always had a passion for helping people. She began as a broker/trader for the New York Mercantile Exchange helping clients with investments. While raising her family she continued helping people as a recruiter, sales representative, and director of a co-op nursery school.

Sherry’s venture into home health care started as doing “favors” for her elderly neighbors. Thanks to Sherry’s energetic and dedicated quality of care she soon found herself in high demand, prompting her to seek out employees that would uphold the same level of service that her clients had come to rely on.

In 2006 Sherry welcomed her first official client. SherCare Senior Services has since flourished into a successful home health care agency rooted in personalized service and compassionate care

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

My sweet mother spent the better part of her last year at her home in Chatham being cared for by the angels at Shercare. Her aides were kind and compassionate, allowing me to be the daughter rather than the nurse. I will never forget the personal and loving attention she received from Sherry and her professional staff. I would recommend them without reservation.

Constance Gore, 2024

With SherCare, it’s like having the comfort and care of family. Sherry and her team of caregivers go above and beyond with their senior service care. I have worked with other senior care agencies and the level of attentiveness and warmth is unmatched. Years after my grandfather passed, our family still stays in touch with the caregivers who truly became part of the family.

Teresa Solano, 2024

Sherry was a LIFESAVER when my Mom fell and suddenly needed assistance. She was so patient! She walked us through what we needed, communicated with the whole family, and found the perfect aide until my Mom was back on her feet. We will definitely be keeping Sherry’s number for the years ahead!

Diane Berkshin, 2021

Sherry and her staff are always working with my mother and I to find the best solutions to meet our needs. It’s nice knowing that my mom is being looked after so well during the times when I can’t be there.
